How much does a wedding DJ cost in Fort Lauderdale?
Wedding packages are all-in with no add-on surprises: Reception is $995 (3 hours, full sound with two mics, planning calls and dance-floor lighting), Full Day is $2,995 (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception with a second sound system and a custom first-dance edit), and Weekend & Destination is $4,995 (adds a welcome party or rehearsal and a day-after set; travel and lodging are quoted for destination weddings). After you share your date, venue and vision, I send a clear quote with everything itemized, so there are no surprises.
Can you DJ and MC my whole wedding, ceremony through last dance?
Yes. I handle ceremony audio, cocktail hour, introductions, toasts, first dance, dinner music and the dance floor, and I keep the schedule flowing with your planner or venue coordinator. One person runs the sound and the room, so nothing gets lost between vendors.
Do you take requests, and can I give you a Do Not Play list?
Both. Send me your must-plays, your favorite songs and your do-not-play list before the day. I build the night around you, then read the room live and adjust, so the dance floor stays full from the first song to the last.
Are you open to different faiths, cultures and traditions?
Always. Every couple, family and tradition is welcome. I treat each celebration with honor, respect and spiritual reverence, and I am glad to learn the music, announcements and customs that matter to you.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have your date and venue. Popular Saturdays in season (October through May) fill up months ahead. Submit the booking form and I will confirm availability for your date.
What do you need from the venue?
Power, a spot near the dance floor, and your timeline. I bring professional speakers, mics, mixing equipment and backup gear. I will coordinate load-in and sound limits directly with your venue.
How much does a karaoke night or emcee cost?
Karaoke packages start with Bar Night from $395 (weekly or one-off), Private Party at $595 (3 hours with the full rig and host, wireless mics and lighting), and Corporate & Events at $795 (team-building and holiday parties, custom song list and emcee support). Emcee-only hosting for corporate events, fundraisers and parties typically runs $400 to $900, and events that combine DJ, karaoke and emcee are quoted as a package.
Do you provide the equipment and songs?
Yes. I bring the sound system, microphones, screens and a deep song catalog covering pop, hip-hop, rock, country, Latin and classics. Guests can also search and request songs on the night.
Can you host my private party, corporate event or fundraiser?
Yes. I MC award nights, product launches, charity galas, birthdays and holiday parties, from a relaxed 30-person gathering to a full ballroom.
What areas do you serve?
Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach County are all home turf. I also travel across Florida and beyond, and travel costs are included in your quote.
How do I book you, and is there a deposit?
Fill out the booking form and I will reply with a quote. A signed agreement and a deposit (typically 25 to 50 percent) hold your date, and the balance is due before the event.
What happens if my plans change?
Dates, venues and timelines move, and I work with you. Your agreement spells out reschedule and cancellation terms, so you always know where you stand.
Can my event be customized?
Absolutely. Every wedding is a little different, and every event can be shaped to fit. It can be an extremely elaborate production with lighting, staging and a full program, or a simple wedding service for just the bride and groom. The sky is the limit and your imagination is the key to your next amazing event.
What's your favorite song?
"What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. It's the one song that always reminds me why I do this: bring people together and leave the room feeling a little better than when we found it.
Are you related to Justin Timberlake?
I get asked this at almost every event! We share a last name, but as far as I know there's no family connection. He brought sexy back; I bring the dance floor. Same last name, different stage.
